The class sizes at First Baptist School are intentionally kept lower to allow our teachers to provide as much one-on-one assistance as possible. In addition, our school uses instructional assistants to allow even more flexible grouping opportunities for teachers while working with students. For preschool, the ratio of teachers to students is dependent upon the age of the children and is determined by regulations issued and enforced by the Office of Child Care. Preschool classes may have no more than 18 students enrolled. In Kindergarten, the adult to student ratio is 1:15. In elementary and middle school, that ratio increases to 1:18.
