Report Cards

Report cards are issued quarterly for elementary and middle school students.  They are intended to give a snap-shot to parents of a child’s academic progress and work habits over the course of each nine weeks in the school year.  Grades are based upon an average of all assignments, both in-class and out of class work, tests, quizzes, and student participation.  Teachers maintain ongoing record of all grades received in their grade book, and use these grades to determine a quarterly grade on the report card.  Conferences may be held at either the teacher’s or parents’ request to discuss the report card.

Preschool students receive progress reports in January and in June detailing their child’s progress in acquiring preschool skills.  Conferences are held as needed to discuss each child’s progress.
